On April 23, Rocky Mountain PBS and KCET Los Angeles/"A Place of Our Own" hosted the inaugural Colorado Child Care Provider Celebration to recognize the contributions of outstanding child care providers.
Eight Colorado child care providers, along with their families, were honored during an awards ceremony held at the Governor's Mansion.

A Place of Our Own
" airs weekdays at 5 a.m. and Sundays at 6 a.m. on Rocky Mountain PBS. The Spanish-language version, "Los Ninos en Su Casa," airs weekdays at 11:30 a.m. on V-me and Sundays at 6:30 a.m. on Rocky Mountain PBS. The series provides practical, everyday advice to parents and childcare providers as they go about the critical job of being a child's first teacher.
