Connie and the Rodents, Look Carefully, a Ferret C
CONNIE AND THE RODENTS Connie meets Norbert the beaver, and notices his big front teeth. Her grandma tells her that Norbert is from the rodent family, and Connie sets out to find the other animals that belong to the same family. Together with Patch she goes looking for rodents, and finds out about the important role they play in nature. LOOK CAREFULLY Belinda the goat teaches Patch and Connie a new game ā?? she shows them that if you look very carefully, you can see things that you donā??t usually notice. A FERRET CALLED WILLOW Willow is a ferret from a northern land, who lands on the beach, after travelling south on a floating block of ice. Heā??s a wild creature, and a little rough, and at first everybody is suspicious of him. But heā??s very good at spotting changes in temperature, and warns the animals about a rainstorm that could flood the valley. They build a dam and save the valley from the floods, and Willow earns the respect of all the animals in the wood.
