Italian markets are a splendor of sight and sound. It's hard to concentrate on what to buy when there's so much to see. But Mary Ann knows exactly what she wants at the Martina Franca mercato – peppers, and plenty of them. Then she goes nella cucina to prepare Bruschetta with Fried Peppers, Roasted Red Pepper Salad, Pepper Molds with Ricotta Cheese, and Pepper Wedges Baked in the Oven.
