Internationally celebrated folk artist Tommy Makem returns to the unspoiled Irish countryside in "Ireland: The Roads Taken With Tommy Makem". This series of two 1-hour programs features Irish songs, stories, poetry and legends told by the master storyteller, distinguished historians and Irish townspeople. Taped entirely on location, these programs travel to areas not seen in Makem's earlier series for public television, the popular Tommy Makem's Ireland (APT Exchange). Makem visits Counties Cork, Kildare, Kerry, Tyrone, and Down, with each stop along the way inspiring a song or story.
