Classic Cookies
Cookies are perhaps the easiest and fastest baked sweets you can make. On today's show, John makes four classic cookie recipes: kitchen sink cookies, packed with chocolate chunks, raisins and pecans; peanut butter surprise cookies, soft and chewy and topped with a chocolate peanut butter cup; two kinds of icebox shortbread cookies, one flavored with orange zest and cranberries and the other containing dried apricots and pistachios. And the cookie jar wouldn't be complete without oatmeal date cookies.
