The National Commemoration Day Parade, celebrating end of war in Europe; Trooper Chris Finney, who received a George Cross award for his heroic acts in Iraq, is introduced. London 7 July Bombings – The HC civil defence role is examined. Kit Passout – Troopers get to ride in full ceremonial kit, in front of their family, and finally graduate riding school – a proud and emotional moment for everyone. Summer Camp – the horses enjoy a canter in the sea at Holkham, on their traditional annual summer holiday. Tanks at LHR-in March of 2003, the HC were called in to Heathrow Airport, in armoured vehicles, on a high-alert security role from terrorists threats. Normandy – veteran Johnny Seyfried goes back to the Bocage countryside, where he fought in the HC as a 20-year-old lieutenant. CoH Richard Bentley and Major General White-Spunner listen, as he tells of his experiences on the field, in this final program of the season.
