One night a year, the corals of Australia's Great Barrier Reef explode into the largest mass breeding event on the planet. "Reef Route 66" is the investigative journey of a young environmental scientist (Matt Tomaszewski) and a slightly mad cameraman (Emmy Award-winning marine cinematographer David Hannan) as they set out to record this amazing phenomenon one of the most spectacular in the undersea kingdom and the keystone in the cycle of life for the entire reef.
