Air
Things are up in the air in this episode of "Everyday Science". Host Brian Jones and his young guests explore a series of fun experiments to learn about air and our atmosphere. In this episode students model the composition of the atmosphere with M&Ms and balloons, feel the weight of the atmosphere, and learn how heavy a hot air balloon really is, though it still floats! This show also features a visit with a local atmospheric scientist, and a look back at Joseph Priestly, the scientist who "discovered" oxygen gas. "Everyday Science" Air... it's a gas!
