Actress Vivica A. Fox (Independence Day, Soul Food) hosts this episode, which features successful methods for encouraging children to write, building their vocabulary and developing their spelling skills. The program follows children's book author Kate Duke to a school in Connecticut, where she helps children write a story based on the guinea pig characters featured in many of her books. She is the author of "Aunt Isabel Tells a Good One," "What Would a Guinea Pig Do?," "One Guinea Pig Is Not Enough" and "Twenty Is Too Many."
