Denver's immigrants make their way to Little Italy, Globeville, and Hazeltine. Let the children of these immigrant neighborhoods take you to the local Italian grocery store, the Polish and Russian orthodox churches, and the Japanese outdoor hot baths. As these people relive their memories, we feel the pain and hunger of the Great Depression, the safety and security of a close knit neighborhood, and the delight of language and food from lands far away.
