Episode #105
Laura learns that Mike is virtually bankrupt and takes him round to see his bank manager about a loan to tide him over his business difficulties. The bank manager visits the gardening business, and decides to refuse the loan. Mike is thrown into deep despondency by the apparently inevitable end of his business, but all are amazed when Mike arrives in jubilant mood. He explains that he can sell his house to keep the business going, and live in the potting shed. He shows Laura, Phil and Helen his primitive living arrangements in the shed, and explains to Laura that in future they will have to spend their evenings together in her fiat.
