Legendary Irish singer/songwriter Van Morrison has been a fixture on the music scene since 1965. Today he is a member of the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame and the Song Writers Hall of Fame. Morrison also ranked No. 25 in VH1's list of the 100 greatest Rock & Roll artists. "Van Morrison: Live at Montreux '80" captures "Van the Man" in a unique performance from the famed international music festival. Founded in 1967, the Montreux Jazz Festival has established itself as one of the most prestigious annual music events in the world. Morrison has played the festival many times from the early '70s to the present day. This concert was one of his finest and features his classic hits as well as stunning, lesser-known material.
