Road to Tokyo
Series Info & Airtimes

During World War II Australia was a country of 7 million people. One million of those citizens served in uniform, aiding heroically in the Allied war in the Pacific. "Road to Tokyo" is the forgotten story of the terrible human sacrifice in the war's last months: the Borneo and Phillippine campaigns, the activities on the Australian homefront to support the war effort and, ultimately, the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki which ended the war.
