Globe Trekker
Cuba & Haiti
Ian explores the bustling street markets in Havana and discovers the lure of the rumba. He then travels west to the Pinar del Rio, where he lends a hand to the locals, visits a cigar factory and tours the site of the Bay of Pigs invasion. In Camaguey, the "Wild West" of Cuba, Ian tries his hand at rodeo and later swims with the dolphins outside Holguin. Next, he journeys to Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti, and Jacmel, where Ian takes part in a peasant festival and joins the Rara bands. He ends his trip with a voodoo festival in Souvenance and a visit to a spectacular citadel in Cap Haitien.
