Pride and Prejudice (Part 3 of 3)
In episode three, the Bingleys and Georgiana (Darcy's sister) arrive at Pemberley. They invite Elizabeth and the Gardiners to Pemberley for dinner. Georgiana falters at the piano, obviously distressed, but Elizabeth comes to her rescue, earning Darcy's gratitude. Things are definitely heating up between them, and there are long, lingering looks across the room. The next day, alarming news comes as foolish Lydia has eloped with Wickham and it is doubtful whether he has any intention of marrying her. Mr. Bingley proposes to Jane, she accepts and everyone is blissfully happy. Except Elizabeth, who has been forbidden to marry Mr. Darcy by his aunt, Lady Catherine de Bourgh. A few days later, Mr. Darcy, hearing of Elizabeth's argument with his aunt, proposes to Elizabeth. After a double wedding, and Bingley and Elizabeth and Darcy leave in their carriages, to live happily ever after.
