So Long, Spanky/Buster's New Friend: Arthur: TV Schedule: Rocky Mountain PBS

This animated series is based on Marc Brown's best-selling books about "Arthur" Read, an eight-year-old aardvark, his sister D.W., and their family and friends. In "So Long, Spanky," D.W.'s pet bird Spanky dies, and as she come to terms with this, she meets a new friend who happens to be a toad. "Arthur" feels sorry for himself when Buster stops paying attention to him in "Buster's New Friend."
