Fifty years ago, Japan's wartime leader was hanged by the Allies. In the British and American version of World War II, Hideki Tojo was a vicious and ruthless militarist. To some Japanese, he was a patriot and an honorable man who was carrying out his duties and was unjustly hanged after an American show trial. With firsthand witnesses, archival footage and documents, this documentary examines the man, Hideki Tojo, and his role in the war.
