TV Program: Masterpiece Theatre: The Wind in the Willows

"Masterpiece Theatre" presents a delightful new adaptation of Kenneth Grahame's classic children's book "The Wind in the Willows." The 90-minute film follows the adventurous and wealthy Toad as he ignores cleaning his house and begins on a path of trouble. He goes for a picnic on the riverbank, on a caravan expedition, and obsessed with automobiles, drives recklessly through the countryside. When Toad gets caught by the police, only his trusty friends Badger (Bob Hoskins), Ratty and Mole can save him from his profligate habits.
