TV Program: Algebra: In Simplest Terms: Complex Numbers

This program introduces complex numbers. Complex numbers are made up of real and imaginary numbers. Real numbers consist of all positive and negative values. Imaginary numbers are numbers which, like the square root of negative one, cannot be graphed on any coordinate plane, yet are nonetheless essential for solving many problems. A study of aircraft designing shows the importance of complex numbers.
