TV Program: Algebra: In Simplest Terms: Linear Equations

This episode deals with linear equations. We are shown how to set up an equation, and solve for unknows. Word problems are also covered An example is used of trying to count fish in a lake, and using algebra to convert from the small sample to a good estimation of the total number of fish in the lake. Techniques like grouping like terms together are also discussed.
