TV Program: Algebra: In Simplest Terms: Factoring Polynomials

Polynomials are expressions with more than one variable. Factoring is one method of simplifying polynomials. Othert things covered in this program are the so-called "FOIL" method of multiplying two binomials, the difference of two squares, the sumd and difference of two cubes, and the reorganization of polynomial expressions. To show how this is important, the show looks at the use of polynomial expressions in the quest for extraterrestrial life.
