Spirit of Colorado 
Hooves, Paws & Claws
Animals are special in Colorado for a lot of reasons. It's easy to understand the importance of things like sheep ranching and 4H, but in this program we'll learn some more about Colorado's critters. Spend a day in the mountains with highly trained search and rescue avalanche dogs. Learn how natural hot springs help sustain an alligator population in the San Luis Valley, and experience the awe and magnificence of a world famous Clydesdale team. Finally, did you know the first Teddy Bear was invented in Colorado? Learn the origin of this familiar piece of Americana.
