Spirit of Colorado 
Mountaineers
Half of Colorado is covered by the rugged, wonderful Rocky Mountains. Visit a Mountain Man rendezvous and re-live the days when the first white men traveled west of the Mississippi. Veterans of the 10th Mountain Division tell tales of the first American Ski troops and how their love for skiing helped found the first Colorado ski resorts. One of the best disabled skier programs in the world is at Winter Park. Feel the freedom of floating down the hill with the wind in your face as handicapped ski instructor Matt Feeny teaches skiers who never thought skiing was possible.
