Antiques Roadshow
Memphis, Tennessee – Pt 2
"Antiques Roadshow" continues its visit to Memphis, Tennessee, home of the blues and birthplace of rock and roll. At the Memphis Cook Convention Center, appraisers are "all shook up" as some great antiques and collectibles take center stage. Highlights include an 1882 cast iron monkey cap shooter-one of the rarest ever made; a late nineteenth-century Tibetan wedding necklace beautifully decorated with pearls, turquoise and a Chinese zodiac coin; and a small sampling of one man's collection of pocket-sized pieces of art, better known as match safes, worth a striking $20,000.
