They Came to Play chronicles the history of Colorado through baseball and the people who engaged in the nation's pastime from the early settlers in the 1860's to the formation of Triple A Ball a hundred years later. Narrated by veteran baseball announcer Jon Miller, this program explores the origin and development of baseball in Colorado through historical photographs, anecdotes and commentary.
