TV Program: Movie: Bad Day at Black Rock

Spencer Tracy received his fifth Academy Award nomination for his portrayal of a one-armed stranger who arrives at a small southwestern town shortly after WWII in pursuit of a Japanese farmer. When he discovers that the farmer was killed by local racists, he becomes a target of murder. Nominated for Best Screenplay and directed by John Sturges.
