TV Program: Movie: Mister Roberts (1955)

Lt. Douglas Roberts (Henry Fonda) is restless to see actual combat during World War II, but is stuck on a cargo ship with a crew of practical jokers who torment the slightly crazy Captain Morton (James Cagney). Superb ensemble acting, including Jack Lemmon's Academy Award-winning performance as Ensign Pulver, make this movie a much beloved classic.
