TV Program: Movie: The Candidate (1972)

Robert Redford is a California lawyer fighting for the little man. He agrees to run for the Senate against an apparently unassailable incumbent as long as he can do it on his own terms. Once he's in the race and his prospects begin to improve, the deal starts to change.
