Moonbone
Inspired by Wilkie Collins' "The Moonstone" – Dallas Cowboy Daryl " Moose" Johnston's Superbowl ring is missing from an exhibit of sports memorabilia, and "Wishbone" is the prime suspect. "Wishbone"'s dilemma reminds him of "The Moonstone" (considered the first detective novel), in which Franklin Blake is accused of stealing a sacred diamond and, like "Wishbone", must clear himself.
