The Sting/Growing
The Sting: Wartz brings his frog friend Greenie to meet Snook and as they are showing him around, Stripey the bee arrives. Greenie quickly hops away and later admits to Wartz that he is afraid of bees. After he learns some ways to stay safe around bees, Greenie realizes that he shouldn't be so afraid. EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE: Bees – Learning about bees can help us stay calm around them and avoid getting stung. Growing: Madge and Snook are playing cards and start to think back to all of the special things that have happened in the World Tree over the past year. They talk about Wartz's metamorphosis, Burdette's molting, and how wonderful it is that everyone is always changing and growing. EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE: Growth and Change – Living things grow and change. Even though we may grow and look different on the outside, it doesn't change who we are inside.
