Auction
The Rocky Mountain PBS Auction began 45 years ago, in 1965, and was for much of that time a great fundraising event for the network and a programming and event mainstay for both volunteers and viewers. Unfortunately, the recent economic crisis led first to serious re-evaluations of many of our activities and then to the decision that we could not afford to continue airing the annual Auction because it was not earning the returns that it once did.
We realize that the Auction will be missed by many of us – volunteers, viewers and staff alike. For 45 years, we have been grateful for your support of the program, and we hope that all involved will take advantage of some of the other opportunities for volunteering here at the station..
We are still in need of volunteers and financial support. Visit
rmpbs.org/support
or call 800-274-6666 to find out more about volunteer opportunities and other ways to give. Thank you.
