Chief Financial Officer Rocky Mountain PBS Denver, CO
Rocky Mountain PBS (RMPBS) seeks a Chief Financial Officer serving as a member of the Senior Management team of RMPBS to participate with other appropriate management staff in the development and execution of the RMPBS Strategic Plan, Annual Operating Plan and new ventures. Responsibilities include: (1) Directing and leading the finance function, including monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, reports and forecasts as well as local, state and federal tax filings; establish and implement appropriate Internal Controls, audit policies and reviews; contract administration; legal co-ordination; licensing applications and compliance; treasury and banking relationships; insurance, facilities, Management Information Systems and other administrative functions; and Investment Portfolio direction. (2) Supervising the Human Resources function including payroll administration, benefits and policies. (3) Providing and presenting reports and leading special programs for and in conjunction with the RMPBS Board of Directors and its Committees.
Candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting or business related field and a minimum of 3 years experience as either a Controller, Chief Financial Officer, or similar role. Experience in Public Accounting and the management of Human Resources, Legal, and Administrative functions preferred. Demonstrated capability in budgeting and forecasting important as is experience in administration of grants. Exposure to Not-for-Profit organization preferred. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Power Point is essential. Strong analytical skills, change leadership and team building and a bias for action combined with strong interpersonal skills is important. Willingness to adjust schedule to comply with periodic deadlines is required. Compensation in the range of $90,000.00 to $105,000.00 plus benefits.
