Ready To Learn Service
This service is a comprehensive educational opportunity focused around multiple PBS children's programs such as Sesame Street, Between the Lions, and Dragon Tales. For more than ten years the Rocky Mountain PBS Education Department has been committed to motivating young children to learn, particularly children of low income or limited English speaking communities, by enriching the knowledge and educational resources of preschool and elementary educators (family home child-care providers, center-based providers and K-3 teachers). In 2007, Rocky Mountain PBS presented more than 114 Ready To Learn workshops, reaching more than 1200 parents and/or child-care providers and 5,000 children.
If you'd like more information on Rocky Mountain PBS's Ready To Learn services, please call 303-620-5686 (Denver) or 719-543-8800 (Pueblo) or 970-245-1818 (Grand Junction).
