Interns Agree to
Send a résumé and letter outlining area of interest, and summary of education and experience
Non-paid internships
Preference is given to currently enrolled college-level students
Typical duties include working and assisting in
Production of live on-air Pledge Drives and Auctions
Production of Super School News, childrens' news show
Creation and production of special promotions
EFP and studio shoots, observe and act as associate producer
Traffic flow for promotions support and execution
Basic beta editing techniques
Pledge Drive/Auction
Learn preproduction for live studio productions
Assist producer with all preproduction
Train as line producer in control room for Pledge Drives and Auction
Build promo reels with editor for Pledge Drive
Create item and informational tapes for Auction
Coordinate donor graphics and text information for live events
Develop and organize production sheets for Pledge and Auction
Assist in scheduling talent and act as liaison
Work with volunteer talent coordinators
Goals
Develop writing and interpersonal communication
Learn live producing skills
Learn EFP producing/directing skills
Train in basic beta editing
Train as associate producer, in studio and on location
Produce segments and promos for Pledge and Auction
Create a résumé demo tape
Watch "Mister Green Preview"
