Production

Colorado State of Mind is a weekly studio-based opinion-driven news and public affairs discussion program. It airs Friday nights at 8:30, and is repeated a couple of times that weekend, on Rocky Mountain PBS all across Colorado.

Four guests discuss three topics gleaned from issues and events in the news. Most panelists are "regular folks" from all walks of life, not public figures, although from time to time we have had leaders from both sides of the aisle in the state legislature, opinion columnists running the range from Ken Hamblin to Diane Carman, and the editors of both the Post and the Rocky Mountain News.

The series has been on the air since January 2003, and in its first year won an Emmy as the best "Interview / Discussion" program on television in our part of the country.
