College Graduate Credit

If you have registered for any PBS TeacherLine course, you may choose to receive graduate credit from Adams State College, University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS) or Indiana University.

One semester hour of graduate credit will be awarded for each 15 hours of TeacherLine courses. Graduate credit fees are in addition to the TeacherLine course registration fees.

Adams State Graduate Credit
Adams State College is pleased to align graduate credit to PBS TeacherLine courses. PBS will announce graduate credit information two weeks into your course. Payment for graduate credit will be made online directly to ASC. Course requirements are listed on your syllabus and honored by ASC. Grading is done on an A-F scale. Transcripts will be mailed automatically as soon as grades are posted at ASC. PBS TeacherLine questions should be directed to your facilitator. Graduate credit questions may be directed to Adams State College at ascextend@adams.edu or by calling 800.548.6679.

UCCS Graduate Credit
Colorado teachers may register for UCCS credit for any local or national course completed. Please contact Carla Rupprecht at 719-262-4134 or email crupprec@uccs.edu before or soon after your course starts.

Recertification Credit
All participants who complete the course satisfactorily will also receive a certificate of completion from PBS, which may be used to present to your district for recertification credit.
