Admission: free

Explore for dinosaur fossils on the trail and learn about other fossils at the Dinosaur Ridge Visitor Center on July 11, 2009 from 10am-2:30pm. Guides including experts from the Morrison Natural History Museum will be stationed along the trail to explain fossils and answer questions. Hike free or take the shuttle bus for $2 per person (5 and under ride free). Several hands-on kids activities include excavating dinosaur bones, sieving for tiny fossils, branding Stegosaurus and painting a free dinosaur track replica to take home.

Kids, bring a fossil from home for us to identify! Take a real fossil home (free).
