After graduating from the United States Air Force Academy, Al began his career as a commissioned officer. During his service, Al completed his MBA at Boston University with an emphasis in Finance. Following military service, Al joined IBM Global Services, providing his expertise in business consulting, software development processes, and overall strategy to multiple customers. Following IBM, Al was intrigued by an opportunity in England, and relocated to the UK to lead the deployment of products & services for customers in the auto industry, as part of a joint venture with Ford Motor Company. That role continued to grow and he was appointed CTO, establishing a legacy of technical leadership that still thrives today.

Al was then asked to take the role of Vice President of Technology, accepted the challenge, and took the opportunity to bring his family back to the place they loved – Colorado. His next achievements came at Nextel, where he was responsible for managing operations that supported Customer Finance and Analytics, playing a crucial role in the delivery of products for marketing analytics, offer management, and campaign management. Prior to NCM, Al held leadership roles in the Public Sector. He was the the CTO at the City of Denver, delivering on a Strategic Roadmap that positively changed the way technology was delivered across a city with over 600,000 residents and 13,000 employees.

Most recently at NCM (Nasdaq: NCMI), Al was responsible for operations and technology as the Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer. He led NCM’s efforts to transform how ads are targeted and delivered, in order to compete with a changing media landscape, especially as it relates to digital. He was able to create an organization that is poised for the future and competitive in the modern media landscape.

Al currently lives in Castle Pines with his wife Michelle and their three teenaged children, and he enjoys adventure motorcycle riding, skiing, golfing and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
