The Rio Grande Southern's Galloping Geese

The name "galloping geese" was coined in the 1950s when the railroad began transporting tourists from Ridgway to Durango by way of Telluride, Lizard Head Pass, Rico, Dolores, and Mancos. Pictured above: The Rio Grande Southern Motor No.5.
